Maribor resumeé
Now I am back home.. just in time to have a mother’s day dinner with my parents and my brother. I wished I would have come to late because then it would have been meant that I was qualificated for the downhill final. ( I was 23rd and the top twenty get in the final) I had a bad run. I didn’t find my rythm and hit a tree. But that just says me that I have to train more to get more constancy.
BUT the good news are I did a very good job in the four cross on Saturday. I reached the Semifinal and with good gates and a lot of fighting spirit and asserting myself. After the first corner I got close two another riders and I think I got one pedal in my back wheel, my spokes broke and my rim got bent. I could hardly pedal because of the high fictional resistance but I managed to pass the finish line as 2nd. I was so stoked and happy and could believe my placement…
You can hear my back wheel rubbing on my frame…
Anita Molcik another girl from Austria got second in the 4 cross and Petra Bernhard 9th in Downhill. Congratulations to them… the Austrian chicks are on the gas.
So this weekend I have the national champs (Semmering/Hirschenkogel /NÖ) so don’t miss it. see you LENE
